The GABABR1 n/a (Catalog #MBS536214) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The GABABR1 antibody reacts with To be determined by end-user and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s GABABR1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB).
WB: 1:500-1:1,000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the GABABR1 n/a for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.

The GABABR1 n/a product has the following accession number(s) (GI #167000400) (NCBI Accession #NP_068704.2) (Uniprot Accession #Q53EM0). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Affinity purified Rabbit polyclonal GABABR1 antibody.

Biological Significance: The inhibitory neurotransmitter, GABA, acts through two ligand-gated channels, GABAA and GABAC receptors and GABAB, the latter of which acts through a G protein mechanism. GABABR1 is one of the two G-protein coupled receptors for GABAB that acts as a heteromeric assembly with GABABR2. Biohazard Information: This product contains sodium azide as preservative. Although the amount of sodium azide is very small appropriate care must be taken when handling this product.
Immunogen: GABABR1 antibody was raised in rabbit using residues 33-54 [PHLPRPHPRVPPHPSSERRAVY] of the GABABR1 subunit as the immunogen. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing GABABR1 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as GABABR1 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Adrenal Gland, Blood, Brain, Liver, Nerve tissues are correlated with this protein. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene.
