The F9 f9 (Catalog #MBS530035) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Factor IX antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s Factor IX can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Radioimmunoassay (RIA), Western Blot (WB).WB: 5 ug/ml. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the F9 f9 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The F9 f9 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #182609) (NCBI Accession #AAA98726.1) (Uniprot Accession #P00740). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Mouse monoclonal Factor IX antibody.
Biological Significance: The zymogen factor IX is a single chain vitamin K-dependent glycoprotein which is synthesized in the liver. The domain structure of factor IX is similar to that of the other vitamin K dependent coagulation factors. The NH2-terminal region contains 12 gamma-carboxyglutamic acid (gla) residues which facilitate the calcium dependent binding of factor IX to negatively charged phospholipid surfaces. Immunogen: Factor IX antibody was raised in mouse using human factor IX as the immunogen. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing F9 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as F9 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Liver, Uncharacterized Tissue tissues are correlated with this protein. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. F9 also interacts with the following gene(s): F11, F12, GGCX, SERPINC1, VWF. Adenocarcinoma, Carcinoma, Cardiovascular Diseases, Cell Transformation, Neoplastic, Hemophilia A, Hemophilia B, Liver Diseases, Liver Neoplasms, Mental Disorders, Neurobehavioral Manifestations are some of the diseases may be linked to Factor IX antibody.
