The EP300 ep300 (Catalog #MBS604748) is an Antibody produced from mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The E1A Binding Protein p300 (EP300, Histone acetyltransferase p300, KAT3B, p300, P300, p300 HAT) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s E1A Binding Protein p300 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunofluorescence (IF).Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
Dilution: Immunofluorescence: 10ug/ml
Immunohistochemistry: 3ug/ml. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the EP300 ep300 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The EP300 ep300 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #119580812) (Uniprot Accession #Q09472). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the E1A Binding Protein p300 (EP300, Histone acetyltransferase p300, KAT3B, p300, P300, p300 HAT) with the following immunoassay(s):
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Immunohistochemical detection of E1A binding protein p300 in formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human colon tissue using mouse monoclonal to human E1A binding protein p300 at a concentration of 3 ug/ml.)
Immunofluorescence (IF) (Immunofluorescence of mouse monoclonal antibody to human E1A binding protein p300 at a concentration of 10 ug/ml, on HeLa cell lysate.)
Western Blot (WB) (Western blot detection of E1A binding protein p300 in HeLa S3 nuclear extract lysate using mouse monoclonal to human E1A binding protein p300.)
E1A binding protein p300 is an E1A-associated cellular p300 transcriptional co-activator protein. It is related by sequence to CBP (CREB-binding protein [CREB: cyclic-AMP responsive element binding protein]), and like CBP can stimulate transcription through activation of CREB. E1A binding protein p300 activity is specifically inhibited by the adenovirus oncoprotein E1A. It has also been identified as a co-activator of HIF1A (hypoxia-inducible factor 1 alpha), and thus plays a role in the stimulation of hypoxia-induced genes such as VEGF.
Immunogen: Partial recombinant protein of human E1A binding protein (aa731-830) with a GST tag. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing EP300 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as EP300 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
