The EGF egfr (Catalog #MBS210774) is an Antibody produced from Rat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. MyBioSource\'s EGF R can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow cytometry (FC/FACS).Flow Cytometry: Use 10ul of the suggested working dilution to label 106 cells in 100ul.
Flow Cytometry: Maximum Dilution: 1/10. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the EGF egfr for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The EGF egfr product has the following accession number(s) (GI #29725609) (NCBI Accession #NP_005219.2) (Uniprot Accession #P00533). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Testing Data (Staining of A431 cells with Rat anti Human EGF Receptor (MBS212315))
Rat anti Human EGF Receptor antibody, clone ICR10 recognizes the human epidermal growth factor receptor (EGF-R), which is over expressed in a high proportion of breast cancer cells and in a range of other carcinomas. High level expression of EGFR is often associated with advanced disease and poor prognosis. Rat anti Human EGF Receptor antibody, clone ICR10 binds to epitope B from EGFR (Lottaz et al. 2010 and Modjtahedi et al. 1993) and has an affinity of 6.7 x 10-9 M.
Perservative Stabilisers: 0.09% Sodium Azide
1% Bovine Serum Albumin
Preparation: Purified IgG prepared by ion exchange chromatography. Immunogen: Extracellular domain of human EGF-receptor from head and neck carcinoma
Buffer Solution: Phosphate buffered saline
Target Species: Human. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing EGF are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as EGF may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Adenocarcinoma, Breast Neoplasms, Carcinoma, Carcinoma, Non-Small-Cell Lung, Carcinoma, Squamous Cell, Disease Progression, Head and Neck Neoplasms, Kidney Diseases, Lung Neoplasms, Small Cell Lung Carcinoma are some of the diseases may be linked to RAT ANTI HUMAN EGF RECEPTOR:FITC. Bone, Brain, Heart, Kidney, Liver, Lung, Muscle, Prostate, Skin, Vascular tissues are correlated with this protein.
