The EEA1 eea1 (Catalog #MBS620218) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Early Endosome Antigen 1 (EEA1) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s Early Endosome Antigen 1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunocytochemistry (ICC).Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunocytochemistry.
Dilution: ELISA: 1:50
Western Blot (HeLa): 1:500
Immunocytochemistry: 1:100. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the EEA1 eea1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The EEA1 eea1 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #55770888) (NCBI Accession #NP_003557.2) (Uniprot Accession #Q15075). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Early endosome antigen 1 (EEA1) is a peripheral membrane protein that contains a calmodulin-binding IQ motif and cysteine rich finger motif necessary for its specific localization to the early endosomes. These early endosomes are cytoplasmatic compartments which fuse the endocytic vesicles for redistribution of extracellular compounds to alternate destinations. EEA1 mediates the regulatory effects of 3\'-phosphoinositides on membrane trafficking through its FYVE-type zinc finger domain.
Immunogen: Synthetic peptide corresponding to aa392-1411, TPSSKKPVRVCDACFNDLQG of human EEA1. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing EEA1 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as EEA1 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Autoimmune Diseases, Carcinoma, Hepatocellular, Cardiomyopathy, Dilated, Central Nervous System Diseases, Gastritis, Kidney Diseases, Liver Diseases, Liver Neoplasms, Necrosis, Neurodegenerative Diseases are some of the diseases may be linked to Early Endosome Antigen 1 (EEA1). Blood, Bone, Brain, Kidney, Liver, Lung, Muscle, Nerve, Testis, Vascular tissues are correlated with this protein. EEA1 also interacts with the following gene(s): RAB22A, RAB5A, RAB5B, RAB5C, TOM1, ZFYVE16.
