The E7 e7 (Catalog #MBS214571) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. MyBioSource\'s PAPILLOMAVIRUS 16 ONCOPROTEIN E7 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the E7 e7 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The E7 e7 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #9627105) (NCBI Accession #NP_041326.1) (Uniprot Accession #P03129). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Mouse anti Human Papillomavirus 16 Oncoprotein E7 antibody, clone 716-F10 recognizes both the monomer and dimer forms of the E7 oncoprotein of human papilloma virus 16. Human papillomavirus (HPV) is a diverse group of DNA-based viruses that infect skin and mucous membranes of humans and animals. Some HPV types are the causative agents of cervical cancer, with types 16 and 18 being particularly high-risk. The viral proteins E6 and E7 disrupts normal cell cycle regulation by interacting with p53 (a tumor-suppressing transcription factor) and Rb (retinoblastoma protein, also a tumor-supressor). E7 particularly binds to Rb and histone deacetylases, resulting in activation of the E2F genes, which code for a family of transcription factors. The viral proteins E6 and E7 might be of particular interest in the development of therapeutic vaccines, since they are expressed early in viral infection. Mouse anti Human Papillomavirus 16 Oncoprotein E7 antibody, clone 716-F10 does not cross-react with E7 protein of HPV-18.
Perservative Stabilisers: 0.09% Sodium azide
Preparation: Purified IgG prepared by affinity chromatography on Protein G from tissue culture supernatant. Immunogen: Oncoprotein E7 from human papillomavirus 16,
Buffer Solution: Phosphate buffered saline
Target Species: Viral. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing E7 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as E7 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
