The DPP7 dpp7 (Catalog #MBS535462) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The DPP7 antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s DPP7 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Paraffin.IHC-P: 10 ug/ml. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the DPP7 dpp7 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The DPP7 dpp7 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #20072621) (NCBI Accession #AAH27205.1) (Uniprot Accession #Q9ET22). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Rabbit polyclonal DPP7 antibody.
Biological Significance: Dipeptidyl-peptidase 2 is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the DPP7 gene. The protein encoded by this gene is a post-proline cleaving aminopeptidase expressed in quiescent lymphocytes. The resting lymphocytes are maintained through suppression of apoptosis, a state which is disrupted by inhibition of this novel serine protease. The enzyme has strong sequence homology with prolylcarboxypeptidase and is active at both acidic and neutral pH. Biohazard Information: This product contains sodium azide as preservative. Although the amount of sodium azide is very small appropriate care must be taken when handling.
Immunogen: DPP7 antibody was raised in rabbit using a synthetic peptide conjugated to KLH as the immunogen. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing DPP7 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as DPP7 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Brain, Heart, Kidney tissues are correlated with this protein. Death, Diabetes Mellitus are some of the diseases may be linked to DPP7 antibody. DPP7 also interacts with the following gene(s): Dpp4, Dpp8, Dpp9.
