The DAPK3 dapk3 (Catalog #MBS194479) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. MyBioSource\'s ZIP Kinase can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunoblot.Immunoblotting: use at 1:1,000 dilution.
Positive control: Whole cell lysate from HeLa cells. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the DAPK3 dapk3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The DAPK3 dapk3 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #5162884) (Uniprot Accession #O43293). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Apoptosis is mediated by death domaincontaining adapter molecules and a caspase family of proteases. Certain serine/threonine protein kinases, such as ASK-1 and RIP, are mediators of apoptosis. A novel serine/threonine kinase that mediates apoptosis was recently identified and designated ZIP kinase. ZIP kinase contains an Nterminal kinase domain and a Cterminal leucine zipper structure and binds to ATF4, a member of ATF/CREB family. ZIP kinase has high sequence homology to DAP kinase (deathassociated protein kinase), a mediator of apoptosis induced by gamma interferon. Overexpression of ZIP kinase induces apoptosis. ZIP and DAP kinases represent a novel kinase family which mediates apoptosis through their catalytic activities. Messenger RNA for ZIP kinase is widely expressed in a variety of human tissues.
Antigen: Peptide corresponding to aa 279-298 of human ZIP kinase. Stabilizer: None
Preservatives: 0.02% sodium azide.
Dilutions Instructions: Dilute in PBS or medium which is identical to that used in the assay system. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing DAPK3 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as DAPK3 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Carcinoma, Non-Small-Cell Lung, Death, Hypertension, Leukemia, Lung Diseases, Lung Neoplasms, Muscular Diseases, Neoplasms are some of the diseases may be linked to Anti-ZIP Kinase Antibody. DAPK3 also interacts with the following gene(s): CDKN1A, DAXX, PAWR. Blood, Bone, Lung, Vascular tissues are correlated with this protein. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene.
