The CYR61 cyr61 (Catalog #MBS614197) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Cysteine-rich, Angiogenic Inducer 61 (CYR61) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s Cysteine-rich, Angiogenic Inducer 61 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Immunofluorescence (IF).Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, Immunocytochemistry and Immunohistochemistry.
Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (FFPE): 1:100
Western Blot (ECL): 1:200. A band can be seen at ~37kD representing the processed form of CYR61 protein. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CYR61 cyr61 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The CYR61 cyr61 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #119593604) (Uniprot Accession #O00622). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Testing Data
CYR61 is a cysteine-rich, heparin-binding, growth factor belonging to the CCN family of secreted regulatory proteins. It stimulates chondrogensis and angiogenesis, playing an important role in cartilage and bone formation, as well as tumor growth and vascularization.
Immunogen: Synthetic peptide corresponding to the human CYR61 protein sequence (between residues 150-250). Positive Control: MDA-MB-231 breast cancer cell lysate. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CYR61 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CYR61 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Adenocarcinoma, Breast Neoplasms, Carcinoma, Fibrosis, Inflammation, Neoplasm Invasiveness, Neoplasm Metastasis, Neoplasms, Neuroectodermal Tumors, Vascular Diseases are some of the diseases may be linked to Cysteine-rich, Angiogenic Inducer 61 (CYR61). CYR61 also interacts with the following gene(s): ITGAV. Bone, Brain, Connective Tissue, Embryonic Tissue, Kidney, Lung, Muscle, Prostate, Skin, Vascular tissues are correlated with this protein.
