The CXCR6 cxcr6 (Catalog #MBS242091) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Rabbit Polyclonal to Human CXCR6 reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s CXCR6 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry (IHC - Paraffin), Immunofluorescence (IF), Western Blot (WB), ELISA.IHC-P: (2.5 ug/ml)
WB: (1:500)
Usage: Bonzo antibody can be used for detection of Bonzo by Western blot at 0.5 ug/mL. Antibody can also be used for immunohistochemistry starting at 2.5 ug/mL. For Immunofluorescence start at 20 ug/mL. Antibody validated: Western Blot in human samples; Immunohistochemistry in human samples and Immunofluorescence in human samples. All other applications and species not yet tested. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CXCR6 cxcr6 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The CXCR6 cxcr6 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #5730106) (NCBI Accession #NP_006555.1) (Uniprot Accession #O00574). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the Rabbit Polyclonal to Human CXCR6 with the following immunoassay(s):
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Anti-CXCR6 antibody IHC of human thymus. Immunohistochemistry of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue after heat-induced antigen retrieval. Antibody concentration 5 ug/ml.)
Western Blot (WB) (Western blot of Bonzo in human spleen tissue lysate in the absence (lane A) or presence (lane B) of peptide with Bonzo antibody at 1 ug/ml.)
Coreceptor usage of primary human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1) isolates varies according to biological phenotype. The chemokine receptors CCR5 and CXCR4 are the major coreceptors that, together with CD4, govern HIV-1 entry into cells.
Immunogen Species: Human. Antigen Type: Synthetic peptide
Immunogen: CXCR6 antibody was raised against a peptide corresponding to 15 amino avids near the amino terminus of human Bonzo/STRL33. The immunogen is located within the first 50 amino acids of Bonzo.
Disclaimer: Due to the highly specific nature of antibodies and antigens, we cannot predict or be held responsible with respect to how this antibody will behave in your systems. Researchers using this antibody should conduct optimization studies to achieve the most optimal result possible for their intended application.
Recommended Immunohistochemistry Protocol: The following protocol is a recommendation only, and MyBioSource, Inc. makes no guarantee of the results:
Tissue Preparation:
Formalin fixation and embedding in paraffin wax.
Tissue Sectioning:
Make 4-um sections and place on pre-cleaned and charged microscope slides. Heat in a tissue-dryingoven for 45 minutes at 60C.
Deparaffinization:
Wash dry slides in 3 changes of xylene - 5 minutes each @ RT
Rehydration:
Wash slides in 3 changes of 100% alcohol - 3 minutes each @ RT
Wash slides in 2 changes of 95% alcohol - 3 minutes each @ RT
Wash slides in 1 change of 80% alcohol - 3 minutes @ RT
Rinse slides in gentle running distilled water - 5 minutes @ RT
Antigen retrieval:
Steam slides in 0.01 M sodium citrate buffer, pH 6.0 at 99-100C - 20 minutes
Remove from heat and let stand at room temperature in buffer - 20 minutes
Rinse in 1X TBS with Tween (TBST) -1 minute @ RT
Immunostaining:
(Do not allow tissues to dry at any time during the staining procedure)
Apply an universal protein block - 20 minutes @ RT
Drain protein block from slides, apply diluted primary antibody - 45 minutes @ RT
Rinse slides in 1 X TBST - 1 minute @ RT
Apply a biotinylated secondary antibody appropriate for the primary antibody - 30 minutes @ RT
Rinse slides in 1X TBST -1 minute @ RT
Apply alkaline phosphatase streptavidin - 30 minutes @ RT
Rinse slides in 1X TBST -1 minute @ RT
Apply alkaline phosphatase chromogen substrate - 30 minutes @ RT
Wash slides in distilled water - 1 minute @ RT
Dehydrate:
(This method should only be used if the chromogen substrate is alcohol insoluble (e.g. Vector Red, DAB)
Wash slides in 2 changes of 80% alcohol - 1 minute each @ RT
Wash slides in 2 changes of 95% alcohol - 1 minute each @ RT
Wash slides in 3 changes of 100% alcohol - 1 minute each @ RT
Wash slides in 3 changes of xylene - 1 minute each @ RT
Apply coverslip.
