The CSF2 csf2 (Catalog #MBS670098) is an Antibody produced from Rat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Rat Anti-Mouse GM-CSF-LE/AF reacts with Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s GM-CSF can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA; Western Blot.Research Application(s): ELISA Capture: MP1-22E9 monoclonal antibody is useful as a capture antibody in a sandwich ELISA for quantifying mouse GM-CSF protein levels. Purified MP1-22E9 antibody should be paired with biotinylated MP1-31G6 antibody as the detection antibody, with purified recombinant mouse GM-CSF as the standard.
Western Blotting: The purified MP1-22E9 antibody is also useful for Western blotting applications. For Western blotting, a concentration of 1-5 ug/mL (in conjunction with AP-labeled Goat Anti-Rat-Ig) has been found to enable detection of <= 100 ng/lane of recombinant mouse GM-CSF under reducing conditions.
Neutralization: The LE/AF form of MP1-22E9 can be used for neutralizing mouse GM-CSF bioactivity. A suitable LE/AF Rat IgG2a should be used as an isotype control.
Since applications vary, each investigator should determine the optimal concentration appropriate for individual applications. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CSF2 csf2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The CSF2 csf2 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #183364) (Uniprot Accession #P04141). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Immunogen: Yeast-expressed recombinant mouse GM-CSF. Characterization: To ensure acceptable performance, each batch of product is tested in a sandwich ELISA to conform to characteristics of a standard reference reagent. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CSF2 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CSF2 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Blood, Bone, Lung tissues are correlated with this protein. Bacterial Infections, Bone Marrow Diseases, Hematologic Diseases, Immune System Diseases, Inflammation, Leukemia, Lung Diseases, Necrosis, Neoplasms, Respiratory Tract Diseases are some of the diseases may be linked to Rat Anti-Mouse GM-CSF-LE/AF. CSF2 also interacts with the following gene(s): CSF2RA, CSF2RB, IL3RA, KITLG, SDC2.
