The CRP crp (Catalog #MBS224050) is an Antibody produced from Goat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. MyBioSource\'s C-REACTIVE PROTEIN can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Turbidimetry (TB). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CRP crp for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.

The CRP crp product has the following accession number(s) (GI #55770842) (NCBI Accession #NP_000558.2) (Uniprot Accession #P02741). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

MBS224050 recognizes human C-reactive protein (CRP), a calcium-binding acute phase reactant belonging to the pentraxin family which is secreted into the plasma by the liver, in response to cytokine stimulation. Levels of plasma CRP are significantly increased during the acute phase response, tissue injury and infection and can be used diagnostically as a marker of inflammation, disease progress and risk assessment of cardiovascular disease (CVD). This reagent is available in bulk quantities and may be made available in other formats. Please enquire for further details.

CRP crp

Perservative Stabilisers: 0.09% Sodium Azide (NaN3). Immunogen: Purified human C-Reactive Protein
Buffer Solution: TRIS buffered saline
Antiserum Preparation: Antisera to Human C-Reactive Protein were raised by repeated immunisation of goats with highly purified antigen
Target Species: Human. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CRP are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CRP may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Liver, Pancreas tissues are correlated with this protein. Arthritis, Rheumatoid, Atherosclerosis, Cardiovascular Diseases, Heart Diseases, Infection, Inflammation, Metabolic Diseases, Myocardial Ischemia, Necrosis, Pain are some of the diseases may be linked to GOAT ANTI HUMAN C-REACTIVE PROTEIN. CRP also interacts with the following gene(s): CFH, FCGR2A, FN1, ICAM1, IL6, LEP, SERPINE1, STAT3. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene.
