The CHFR chfr (Catalog #MBS421208) is an Antibody produced from Goat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Goat anti-CHFR Antibody reacts with Tested: Human; Expected from sequence similarity: Human, Mouse, Rat, Pig Cow and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s CHFR can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Peptide ELISA (EIA), Immunohistochemistry (IHC).Peptide ELISA: Antibody detection limit dilution 1: 64000.
Immunohistochemistry: In paraffin embedded human brain (cerebellum) shows stained Purkinje cells. Recommended concentration, 2.5ug/ml.
Western Blot: Preliminary experiments gave an approx 80kDa band in human brain lysates at 0.5ug/ml, this band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunising peptide. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the band we observe given the predicted size of approx.72kDda according to NP_060693. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CHFR chfr for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The CHFR chfr product has the following accession number(s) (GI #239048792) (NCBI Accession #NP_001154816.1). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful. The amino acid sequence is listed below:
KFNHICEQTR FKN.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the Goat anti-CHFR Antibody with the following immunoassay(s):
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) ((2.5ug/ml) staining of paraffin embedded human brain (cerebellum). Steamed antigen retrieval with citrate buffer pH 6, AP-staining.)
Immunogen: Peptide with sequence KFNHICEQTRFKN, from the C Terminus of the protein sequence according to NP_001154816.1; NP_001154817.1; NP_001154818.1; NP_060693.2; NP_001154819.1.
Epitope: C Terminus. Note: This antibody is expected to recognise all reported isoforms. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CHFR are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CHFR may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Adenocarcinoma, Carcinoma, Carcinoma, Non-Small-Cell Lung, Carcinoma, Squamous Cell, Endometrial Neoplasms, Lung Diseases, Lung Neoplasms, Neoplasms, Experimental, Stomach Neoplasms, Uterine Neoplasms are some of the diseases may be linked to Goat anti-CHFR Antibody. Blood, Eye, Liver, Lung, Lymph Node, Mouth, Muscle, Prostate, Skin, Uterus tissues are correlated with this protein.
