The CFLAR cflar (Catalog #MBS140222) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. MyBioSource\'s CASP8 and FADD-like apoptosis regulator can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB).CFLAR antibody has been tested by ELISA and Western blot analysis to assure specificity and reactivity. Since application varies, however, each investigation should be titrated by the reagent to obtain optimal results. Recommended dilution range for Western blot analysis is 1:500 ~ 1,000. Recommended starting dilution is 1:500. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CFLAR cflar for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The CFLAR cflar product has the following accession number(s) (GI #321267573) (NCBI Accession #NP_001189448.1). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Introduction: CFLAR contains two death effector domains (DEDs) and a caspase-like domain. CFLAR may play a critical role between cell survival and cell death pathway in mammalian cells. CFLAR also interacts with adapter protein FADD and caspase-8 and -10, and potently inhibits apoptosis induced by all known death receptors DR3 (death receptor 3), TRAIL-R (TNF-related apoptosis-inducing ligand receptor) and TNFR1 (tumor necrosis factor receptor 1).
Immunogen: Anti-human CFLAR mAb is derived from hybridization of mouse F0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from BALB/c mice immunized with recombinant human CFLAR amino acids 1-376 purified from E Coli. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CFLAR are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CFLAR may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Blood, Bone, Bone Marrow, Brain, Kidney, Liver, Lung, Prostate, Skin, Vascular tissues are correlated with this protein. Adenocarcinoma, Breast Neoplasms, Disease Models, Animal, Inflammation, Leukemia, Liver Diseases, Lung Neoplasms, Necrosis, Neoplasms, Experimental, Nervous System Diseases are some of the diseases may be linked to Mouse Anti Human CASP8 and FADD-like apoptosis regulator.
