The Factor I cfi (Catalog #MBS520291) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-Human Factor I (FITC) (Clone: OX-21) (mouse IgG1) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s Factor I can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Factor I cfi for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The Factor I cfi product has the following accession number(s) (GI #64596) (NCBI Accession #CAA42582.1) (Uniprot Accession #Q03711). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

anti-human factor I (C3b inactivator) monoclonal antibody clone OX-21 recognizes human complement protein factor I. Factor I has two polypeptide chains, 56kD and 38kD. This antibody detects only the 56kD chain. Factor I is a serine protease with a high degree of specificity for C3b and C4b. It requires protein cofactors for cleavage of these complement protein breakdown products: Factor H, CR1 and MCP are required for C3b cleavage and C4bp or CR1 for C4b cleavage. This antibody is suitable for use in flow cytometry. This clone has been reported not to cross react with rat.
Immunogen: Human complement Factor I
Donor: Immunized FI cross DBA/2 x BALB/c mouse spleen cells
Fusion Partner: NS-1 mouse myeloma. Presentation: 100ug FITC conjugated Ig buffered in PBS, 0.02% NaN3 and EIA grade BSA as a stabilizing protein to bring total protein concentration to 4-5 mg/ml. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing Factor I are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as Factor I may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Digestive, Whole Body tissues are correlated with this protein.
