|The CDC27 cdc27 (Catalog #MBS850178) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The CDC27 Antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s CDC27 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), ELISA (EIA).
ELISA: 1:10000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CDC27 cdc27 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The CDC27 cdc27 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #167466177) (NCBI Accession #NP_001107563.1) (Uniprot Accession #P30260). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the CDC27 Antibody with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (Figure 1. Western blot analysis using CDC27 mouse mAb against CDC27-hIgGFc transfected HEK293 cell.)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Figure 2. Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded lung cancer tissues (left) and colon cancer tissues (right) using CDC27 mouse mAb with DAB staining.)
Cdc27 shares strong similarity with Saccharomyces cerevisiae protein Cdc27, and the gene product of Schizosaccharomyces pombe nuc 2. It is a component of the Anaphase Promoting Complex (APC), which is composed of eight protein subunits and is highly conserved in eucaryotic cells. The APC catalyzes the formation of the cyclin B ubiquitin conjugate that is responsible for the ubiquitin mediated proteolysis of B type cyclins. This protein and 3 other members of the APC complex contain the TPR (tetratricopeptide repeat), a protein domain important for protein protein interaction. This protein was shown to interact with mitotic checkpoint proteins including Mad2, p55CDC and BUBR1, and thus may be involved in controlling the timing of mitosis.
Immunogen: Purified recombinant fragment of human CDC27 expressed in E. Coli. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CDC27 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CDC27 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Atherosclerosis, Brain Diseases, Breast Neoplasms, Carcinoma, Congenital Abnormalities, Hyperplasia, Lung Neoplasms, Neoplasms, Neoplasms, Experimental, Ovarian Neoplasms are some of the diseases may be linked to CDC27 Antibody.
