The CD9 cd9 (Catalog #MBS217342) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. MyBioSource\'s CD9 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow cytometry (FC/FACS), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunoprecipitation (IP), Western Blot (WB).Flow Cytometry: Use 10ul of the suggested working dilution to label 1x106 cells in 100ul.
Western Blot: This item detects a band of approximately 25kDa in HeLa cell lysates.
Flow Cytometry: Minimum Dilution: Neat; Maximum Dilution: 1/200. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD9 cd9 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The CD9 cd9 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #4502693) (NCBI Accession #NP_001760.1) (Uniprot Accession #P21926). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Mouse anti Human CD9 antibody, clone Bu16 detects human CD9, also known as Motility-related protein-1 (MRP-1). CD9 is a 24-27kD transmembrane protein which is a member of the tetraspanin family. It is thought that the main role of tetraspanins is to form signal transducing complexes with integrins at the cell surface, and for this reason CD9 has multiple functions in cell adhesion and motility, platelet activation, gamete fusion and cell proliferation. CD9 has a functional role as a tumour metastatic suppressor and is expressed in melanomas, and colon, lung and breast carcinomas.
Perservative Stabilisers: 0.09% Sodium Azide (NaN3)
Preparation: Purified IgG prepared by affinity chromatography on Protein G from tissue culture supernatant. Buffer Solution: Phosphate buffered saline
Target Species: Human. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CD9 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CD9 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Blood, Bone, Bone Marrow, Embryonic Tissue, Kidney, Liver, Lung, Lymph Node, Placenta, Vascular tissues are correlated with this protein.
