The CD8 n/a (Catalog #MBS670361) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Mouse Anti-Human CD8 reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s CD8 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry.Flow Cytometry:
FITC: 10 uL/10^6 cells
Since applications vary, you should determine the optimum working dilution for the product that is appropriate for your specific need. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD8 n/a for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the Mouse Anti-Human CD8 with the following immunoassay(s):
Test Data (Human peripheral blood lymphocytes were stained with Mouse Anti-Human CD8-PE and Mouse Anti-Human CD4-FITC.)
CD8 is a 33 kDa transmembrane glycoprotein expressed as either a CD8alphaalpha homodimer or CD8alphabeta heterodimer. It is expressed on the cytotoxic/suppressor subpopulation of peripheral T cells. CD8 functions primarily as a coreceptor with MHC class I-restricted TCRs in antigen recognition.
Immunogen: Thymocytes and Szary T cells
Characterization: To insure lot to lot consistency, each batch of product is tested by flow cytometry to conform with thecharacteristics of a standard reference reagent. Warning: Reagents contain sodium azide which is very toxic if ingested or inhaled. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing. Wear eye or face protection when handling. If skin or eye contact occurs, wash with copious amounts of water. If ingested or inhaled, contact a physician immediately. Sodium azide yields toxic hydrazoic acid under acidic conditions. Dilute azide-containing compounds in running water before discarding to avoid accumulation of potentially explosive deposits in lead or copper plumbing. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CD8 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CD8 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
