The CD62L sell (Catalog #MBS214776) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. MyBioSource\'s CD62L can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow cytometry (FC/FACS).Flow Cytometry: Use 10ul of the suggested working dilution to label 106 cells or 100ul whole blood.
Flow Cytometry: Maximum Dilution: Neat. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD62L sell for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The CD62L sell product has the following accession number(s) (GI #262206315) (NCBI Accession #NP_000646.2) (Uniprot Accession #P14151). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Testing Data (Staining of human peripheral blood granulocytes with Mouse anti Human CD62L:FITC (MBS210612))
Mouse anti Human CD62L antibody, clone FMC46 recognizes human CD62L, also known a L-selectin, a 74-95kDa member of the selectin family of adhesion receptors, which acts as a ligand for both CD62-P (P-selectin) and CD62E (E-selectin). Human CD62L is constitutively expressed on most leucocytes including monocytes, granulocytes, lymphocytes, NK cells, bone marrow myeloid progenitor cells and on a subset of thymocytes. CD62L plays an important role in leucocyte tethering and rolling on the endothelial cell surface and for the homing of nave lymphocytes to lymph nodes and Peyers patches via HEV. Neutrophils require a constant supply of this molecule on the cell surface for migration into peripheral tissues and adhesion to activated endothelium at sites of inflammation, where CD62L is rapidly shed as soluble L-selectin, but surface expression still remains. The expression of CD62L is down regulated on lymphocytes and neutrophils by PMA stimulation.
Perservative Stabilisers: 0.09% Sodium Azide
1% Bovine Serum Albumin
5% Sucrose
Preparation: Purified IgG prepared by affinity chromatography on Protein G from tissue culture supernatant. Immunogen: PHA stimulated lymphoblasts.
Fusion Partners: Spleen cells from immunised BALB/c mice were fused with cells of the mouse NS1 myeloma cell line.
Buffer Solution: Phosphate buffered saline
Target Species: Human. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CD62L are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CD62L may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
