The CD49d n/a (Catalog #MBS531666) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The CD49d antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s CD49d can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS), Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Formalin, Immunoprecipitation (IP).FC: 1 ug/5 x10^5 cells. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD49d n/a for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.

Mouse monoclonal CD49d antibody.
Biological Significance: Integrin alpha 4 is also known as CD49D. Integrins are heterodimeric integral membrane proteins composed of an alpha chain and a beta chain. This gene encodes an alpha 4 chain. Unlike other integrin alpha chains, alpha 4 neither contains an I-domain, nor undergoes disulfide-linked cleavage. Alpha 4 chain associates with either beta 1 chain or beta 7 chain. Cross-Reactivity: Bovine, goat, horse, llama, mink, mustelid, cynomolgus monkey, pig, rabbit, rat, rhesus monkey
Biohazard Information: This product contains sodium azide as preservative. Although the amount of sodium azide is very small appropriate care must be taken when handling.
Immunogen: CD49d antibody was raised in mouse using JM leukaemia line as the immunogen. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CD49d are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CD49d may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
