|The CD45RC n/a (Catalog #MBS531987) is an Antibody produced from Rat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The CD45RC antibody reacts with Murine and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s CD45RC can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS), Immunoprecipitation (IP). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD45RC n/a for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.

Rat monoclonal CD45RC antibody.
Biological Significance: Protein tyrosine phosphatase, receptor type, C also known as PTPRC is an enzyme that, in humans, is encoded by the PTPRC gene. PTPRC is also known as CD45 antigen (CD stands for cluster of differentiation), which was originally called leukocyte common antigen. Various isoforms of CD45 exist: CD45RA, CD45RB, CD45RC, CD45RAB, CD45RAC, CD45RBC, CD45RO, CD45R (ABC). CD45RA is located on naive T cells and CD45RO is located on memory T cells. Immunogen: CD45RC antibody was raised in rat using an exon C-depentent epitope of the CD45 glycoprotein as the immunogen. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CD45RC are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CD45RC may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
