The CD44 cd44 (Catalog #MBS520134) is an Antibody produced from Rat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-Mouse CD44, PE (Clone KM81) (rat IgG2a) reacts with Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s CD44 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry (IHC). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD44 cd44 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The CD44 cd44 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #685122) (NCBI Accession #AAB30429.1) (Uniprot Accession #P16070). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Testing Data
anti-mouse CD44 (Pgp-1, Ly-24) monoclonal antibody recognizes a 95 kDa glycoprotein found on most hematopoietic cells (1). It is thought to be important in the regulation of migratory properties of lymphocytes during development and the regulation of the interaction with bone marrow stromal cells during hematopoiesis (2,3). CD44 functions as a receptor for hyaluronate, although some cells expressing CD44 do not bind hyaluronate (3,4). This antibody has been shown to inhibit the growth of lymphoid and myeloid cells on long term bone marrow cultures (3). It also blocks the adhesive interactions of B cell hybridomas to a cloned stromal line or to hyaluronate coated dishes (4).
Immunogen: Bone Marrow Derived Stromal cells (clone BMS2)
Donor: Lou/MN Rat
Fusion Partner: SP2/0. Presentation: 50 ug or 300 ug PE conjugated Ig buffered in PBS, 0.02% NaN3 and EIA grade BSA as a stabilizing protein to bring total protein concentration to 4-5 mg/ml. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CD44 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CD44 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Breast Neoplasms, Carcinoma, Disease Models, Animal, Inflammation, Lung Diseases, Necrosis, Neoplasms, Neoplasms, Experimental, Nervous System Diseases, Skin Diseases are some of the diseases may be linked to Anti-Mouse CD44, PE (Clone KM81) (rat IgG2a). Blood, Bone, Bone Marrow, Embryonic Tissue, Liver, Lung, Lymph Node, Skin, Spleen, Vascular tissues are correlated with this protein.
