The CD44 cd44 (Catalog #MBS520129) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. MyBioSource\'s CD44 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry (IHC). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD44 cd44 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The CD44 cd44 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #685122) (NCBI Accession #AAB30429.1) (Uniprot Accession #P16070). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the Anti-Rat CD44 FITC (Clone OX-49) (mouse IgG2a) with the following immunoassay(s):
Testing Data
anti-rat CD44 (OX-49) monoclonal antibody recognizes rat CD44 (Pgp-1), also called CD44H. This antigen is expressed on most leukocytes (except a sub population of B cells) and increases upon activation. The OX-49 antibody binds extracellularly to the standard (S) form on rat leukocytes but it is not known if they bind to the N-terminal region. It has also been reported that the antibody may bind to melanoma cell lines that express CD44V (splice variant form). This antibody is suitable for flow cytometry and immunohistochemisty on frozen and paraffin sections.

. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CD44 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CD44 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Blood, Bone, Bone Marrow, Embryonic Tissue, Liver, Lung, Lymph Node, Skin, Spleen, Vascular tissues are correlated with this protein. Breast Neoplasms, Carcinoma, Disease Models, Animal, Inflammation, Lung Diseases, Necrosis, Neoplasms, Neoplasms, Experimental, Nervous System Diseases, Skin Diseases are some of the diseases may be linked to Anti-Rat CD44 FITC (Clone OX-49) (mouse IgG2a).
