|The CD192 ccr2 (Catalog #MBS224053) is an Antibody produced from Goat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. MyBioSource\'s CD192 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow cytometry (FC/FACS), Immunohistology Paraffin*, Western Blot (WB).
Flow Cytometry: Use 10ul of the suggested working dilution to label 1x106 cells in 100ul.
Flow Cytometry: Minimum Dilution: 1/20
Immunohistology - Paraffin: Minimum Dilution: 1/125; Application Note: This product requires antigen retrieval using heat treatment prior to staining of paraffin sections. Sodium citrate buffer pH 6.0 is recommended for this purpose.
Western Blotting: Minimum Dilution: 1/500. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD192 ccr2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The CD192 ccr2 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #6753466) (NCBI Accession #NP_034045.1) (Uniprot Accession #P51683). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the GOAT ANTI MOUSE CD192 (N-TERMINAL) with the following immunoassay(s):
Testing Data #1 (Paraffin embedded mouse spleen stained with Goat anti mouse CD192 (MBS224053))
Goat anti Mouse CD192 (N-terminal) antibody recognizes an epitope within the N-terminal (NT) region of mouse CD192, otherwise known as CCR2 (C-C chemokine receptor type 2), a transmembrane glycoprotein and member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family, which plays a key role in inflammation. CD192 acts as a receptor for the chemokines MCP-1 (monocyte chemoattractant protein 1), MCP-3 and MCP-4, and interaction between CD192 and MCP-1, initiates chemotactic responses through an increase in intracellular calcium levels. Goat anti Mouse CD192 is reported as suitable for use in immunocytochemistry on acetone fixed cells.
Perservative Stabilisers: 0.1% Sodium Azide (NaN3)
0.1% Bovine Serum Albumin. Histology Positive Control Tissue: Spleen
Buffer Solution: Phosphate buffered saline
Antiserum Preparation: Antiserum to mouse CD192 (NT) was raised by repeated immunisation of goats with highly purified antigen. Purified IgG was prepared by affinity chromatography.
Target Species: Mouse. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CD192 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CD192 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Adipose Tissue, Bone Marrow, Lung, Lymph Node, Pancreas, Prostate, Skin, Spinal Cord, Spleen, Uterus tissues are correlated with this protein.
