The CD150 slamf1 (Catalog #MBS211219) is an Antibody produced from Rat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. MyBioSource\'s CD150 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow cytometry (FC/FACS), Functional Assays (FN).Flow Cytometry: Use 10ul of the suggested working dilution to label 106 cells in 100ul
Flow Cytometry: Minimum Dilution: 1/10; Maximum Dilution: 1/50. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD150 slamf1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The CD150 slamf1 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #29336066) (NCBI Accession #NP_038758.2) (Uniprot Accession #Q9QUM4). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Rat anti Mouse CD150 antibody, clone 9D1 recognizes murine CD150, also known as signalling lymphocyte activation molecule (SLAM). Murine CD150 is a 75kDa cell surface glycoprotein that is expressed on T-cells and B-cells, and has been shown to be upregulated on activated T-cells and stimulated macrophages. Reports suggest that the extracellular domain of CD150 is the receptor for the measles virus and acts as a co-activator on T-cells and B-cells. Rat anti Mouse CD150 antibody, clone 9D1 is reported to have functional activity (Howie et al. 2002).
Preparation: Purified IgG prepared by affinity chromatography on Protein G from tissue culture supernatant. Immunogen: CHO cells stably transfected with mouse CD150
Fusion Partners: Spleen cells from immunised rats were fused with cells of a myeloma cell line.
Buffer Solution: Phosphate buffered saline
Target Species: Mouse. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CD150 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CD150 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
