The CD14 cd14 (Catalog #MBS216492) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. MyBioSource\'s CD14 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistology Frozen*, Flow cytometry (FC/FACS), Immunoprecipitation (IP).Flow Cytometry: Use 10ul of the suggested working dilution to label 106 cells in 100ul.
Immunohistology - Frozen: Application Note: The epitope recognised by this antibody is reported to be sensitive to formaldehyde fixation and tissue processing. MyBioSource recommends the use of acetone fixation for frozen sections.
Flow Cytometry: Maximum Dilution: 1/50. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD14 cd14 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The CD14 cd14 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #4557417) (NCBI Accession #NP_000582.1) (Uniprot Accession #P08571). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the MOUSE ANTI HUMAN CD14 with the following immunoassay(s):
Testing Data (Staining of human peripheral blood monocytes with Mouse anti Human CD14-IgG:Endotoxin Low (MBS224504))
Testing Data (Staining of human peripheral blood monocytes with Mouse anti Human CD14:FITC (MBS211063))
Testing Data (Sandwich ELISA analysis of Human CD14 binding using Mouse anti CD14 antibody, clone MEM-18 (MBS212551) as a capture reagent and biotinylated Mouse anti Human CD14 antibody, clone UCHM1 (MBS213102) as a detection reagent with purified CD14 as antigen for generation of the standard curve. Detection is by HRP conjugated streptavidin. Microtitre plate is read at O.D. 450 nm on the iMark Microplate Absorbance Reader. Serum samples diluted 1:200 and 1:400 are shown green and red respectively, while plasma samples also diluted 1:200 and 1:400 are blue and orange respectively)

Mouse anti Human CD14 antibody, clone UCHM1 recognizes a cell surface antigen of 55 kD, known as CD14.The CD14 molecule is found predominantly on monocytes and macrophages in flow cytometry, it is less strongly expressed on granulocytes, and is absent from stem cells and myeloid cells of very early differentiation states. In immunohistology the CD14 molecule is found to be present on Langerhans cells, follicular dendritic cells, histiocytes and high endothelial venules. Antibodies to the CD14 molecule are known to induce oxidative burst formation. In tonsil tissue sections UCHM1 gives positive staining reactions with monocytic cells, the interfollicular tissue macrophages seen under the capsule, and dendritic reticulum cells. Skin Langerhans cells are always negative (Hogg et al. 1984). UCHM1 also reacts with Kupffer cells and sinus lining cells on the liver.
