The CD106 vcam1 (Catalog #MBS219407) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. MyBioSource\'s CD106 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow cytometry (FC/FACS).Flow Cytometry: Use 10ul of the suggested working dilution to label 1x106 cells in 100ul.
Flow Cytometry: Minimum Dilution: Neat. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD106 vcam1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The CD106 vcam1 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #6981700) (NCBI Accession #NP_037021.1) (Uniprot Accession #P29534). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Mouse anti Rat CD106 antibody, clone MR106 specifically recognizes rat CD106, otherwise known as VCAM-1 (vascular adhesion molecule 1), a 110kDa inducible type I transmembrane glycoprotein and member of the immunoglobulin supergene family, which is predominantly expressed on vascular endothelium, and also on bone marrow stromal cells, follicular dendritic cells and some macrophages. CD106 interacts with the lymphocyte homing receptor VLA-4 (alpha4 beta1 integrin) and LPAM-1 (alpha4 beta7 integrin) and mediates leucocyte-endothelial cell adhesion and signal transduction. Expression of CD106 is upregulated following cytokine activation, and endothelial CD106 plays a role in the extravasation of leucocytes from blood vessels during inflammation.

Target Species: Rat. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CD106 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CD106 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Anemia, Atherosclerosis, Cardiovascular Diseases, Heart Diseases, Hypertension, Inflammation, Kidney Diseases, Myocardial Infarction, Myocardial Ischemia, Necrosis are some of the diseases may be linked to MOUSE ANTI RAT CD106:RPE.
