The CACYBP cacybp (Catalog #MBS602942) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Calcyclin Binding Protein (CACYBP, GIG5, MGC87971, PNAS-107, RP1-102G20.6, SIP, S100A6BP) reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s Calcyclin Binding Protein can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS).Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Western Blot and Immunocytochemistry.
Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 0.5-2ug
Western Blot: 0.2-2ug/ml
Immunocytochemistry: 2-10ug/ml. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CACYBP cacybp for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The CACYBP cacybp product has the following accession number(s) (GI #3063653) (Uniprot Accession #Q5R371). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the Calcyclin Binding Protein (CACYBP, GIG5, MGC87971, PNAS-107, RP1-102G20.6, SIP, S100A6BP) with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (Western Blot of Recombinant CacyBP using MBS602942.)
Testing Data (Whole cell lysate from human HEK293 (H, 25ug), mouse NIH3T3 (M, 25ug) and rat F2408 (R, 25ug) cells. Predicted molecular weight: 26kD.)
Testing Data (HeLa cells were fixed in 2% paraformaldehyde/PBS and then permeabilized in 90% methanol. Cells were stained with MBS602942 (shaded) or isotype control (unshaded) followed by Alexa Fluor® 488- conjugated goat anti-mouse IgG.)
Testing Data (HeLa cells were fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde and permeabilized with 0.1% Triton X-100 in PBS. The cells were immunostained with MBS602942.)
The protein encoded by this gene is a calcyclin binding protein. It may be involved in calcium-dependent ubiquitination and subsequent proteosomal degradation of target proteins. It probably serves as a molecular bridge in ubiquitin E3 complexes and participates in the ubiquitin-mediated degradation of beta-catenin. Two alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. (NCBI Entrez Gene Summary).
Immunogen: Partial sequence of recombinant full-length protein to human Calcyclin Binding Protein. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CACYBP are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CACYBP may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
