The C1QTNF3 c1qtnf3 (Catalog #MBS151520) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The CTRP3 Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s CTRP3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunofluorescence (IF).CTRP3 antibody can be used for the detection of CTRP3 by Western blot at 1 mug/mL. Antibody can also be used for immunohistochemistry starting at 2 mug/mL. For immunofluorescence start at 10 mug/mL. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the C1QTNF3 c1qtnf3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The C1QTNF3 c1qtnf3 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #62739183) (NCBI Accession #NP_852100) (Uniprot Accession #Q9BXJ4). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the CTRP3 Antibody with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (Western blot analysis of CTRP3 in mouse heart cell lysate with CTRP3 antibody at 1 μg/mL in the (A) absence and (B) presence of blocking peptide.)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Immunohistochemistry of CTRP3 in mouse heart tissue with CTRP3 antibody at 2 μg/mL.)
Immunofluorescence (IF) (Immunofluorescence of CTRP3 in Mouse Heart tissue with CTRP3 antibody at 10 μg/mL.)
CTRP3 Antibody: Adipose tissue of an organism plays a major role in regulating physiologic and pathologic processes such as metabolism and immunity by producing and secreting a variety of bioactive molecules termed adipokines. One highly conserved family of adipokines is adiponectin/ACRP30 and its structural and functional paralogs, the C1q/tumor necrosis factor-alpha-related proteins (CTRPs) 1-7. Unlike adiponectin, which is expressed exclusively by differentiated adipocytes, the CTRPs are expressed in a wide variety of tissues. An analysis of the crystal structure of adiponectin revealed a structural and evolutionary link between TNF and C1q-containing proteins, suggesting that these proteins arose from a common ancestral innate immunity gene. Multiple isoforms of human CTRP3 have been reported. It has been suggested that CTRP3 may play a role in skeletal development.
Conjugate: Unconjugated
Immunogen: CTRP3 antibody was raised against a 16 amino acid synthetic peptide from near the center of human CTRP3.
Buffer: CTRP3 Antibody is supplied in PBS containing 0.02% sodium azide. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing C1QTNF3 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as C1QTNF3 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
