The BGLAP bglap (Catalog #MBS211440) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The MOUSE ANTI HUMAN OSTEOCALCIN reacts with Bovine, Pig, Rabbit, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s OSTEOCALCIN can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the BGLAP bglap for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The BGLAP bglap product has the following accession number(s) (GI #40316933) (NCBI Accession #NP_954642.1) (Uniprot Accession #P02818). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Mouse anti Human Osteocalcin antibody, clone 8H12F9H10 recognizes intact human and bovine osteocalcin in a 2 site assay and reacts with osteocalcin fragments corresponding to amino acids 1-19, 7-19 and 15-31 of the native molecule. It does not recognize fragments representing amino acids 20-43 or intact bovine osteocalcin.Osteocalcin (Bone Gla Protein) is a 49 amino acid single chain vitamin K dependent protein (MW 5.8 kDa), made by osteoblasts that is a major component of the non-collagenous bone matrix. Serum osteocalcin is elevated in diseases characterized by increased bone turnover such as osteoporosis, hyperparathyroidism and Paget\'s disease, and low in conditions associated with low bone turnover such as hypoparathyroidism and growth hormone deficiency.
Perservative Stabilisers: 0.09% Sodium Azide (NaN3)
Preparation: Purified IgG prepared by affinity chromatography on Protein G. Buffer Solution: Phosphate buffered saline
Target Species: Human. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing BGLAP are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as BGLAP may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Bone, Brain, Heart, Intestine, Lung, Parathyroid, Prostate tissues are correlated with this protein. BGLAP also interacts with the following gene(s): ATF4, BMP2, LEP, PTH, PTHLH, RUNX2, TGFB1, VDR. Bone Diseases, Calcinosis, Cardiovascular Diseases, Hypertension, Inflammation, Kidney Diseases, Nervous System Diseases, Osteoporosis, Pain, Renal Insufficiency are some of the diseases may be linked to MOUSE ANTI HUMAN OSTEOCALCIN. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene.
