The AXL axl (Catalog #MBS850946) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AXL Antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s AXL can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA.WB: 1/500-1/2000
ELISA: Propose Dilution: 1/10000
Not yet tested in other applications. Determining optimal working dilutions by titration test. May be suitable for use in other assays to be determined by end user. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the AXL axl for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The AXL axl product has the following accession number(s) (GI #21536468) (NCBI Accession #NP_001690.2) (Uniprot Accession #P30530). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the AXL Antibody with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (Figure 1. Western blot analysis using AXL mouse mAb against truncated Trx-AXL recombinant protein (1).)
AXL. AXL receptor tyrosine kinase. The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the receptor tyrosine kinase subfamily. Although it is similar to other receptor tyrosine kinases, this protein represents an unique structure of the extracellular region that juxtaposes IgL and FNIII repeats. It transduces signals from the extracellular matrix into the cytoplasm by binding growth factors like vitamin K-dependent protein growth-arrest-specific gene 6. It is involved in the stimulation of cell proliferation and can also mediate cell aggregation by homophilic binding. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
Immunogen: Purified recombinant fragment of AXL(aa466-530) expressed in E. Coli. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing AXL are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as AXL may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Bone, Bone Marrow, Brain, Embryonic Tissue, Eye, Kidney, Liver, Lung, Muscle, Vascular tissues are correlated with this protein. Adenocarcinoma, Breast Neoplasms, Carcinoma, Disease Models, Animal, Inflammation, Lung Neoplasms, Necrosis, Neoplasm Metastasis, Neoplasms, Nervous System Diseases are some of the diseases may be linked to AXL Antibody.
