The ATF1 atfc (Catalog #MBS534467) is an Antibody produced from Sheep and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The ATF1 antibody reacts with To be determined by end-user and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s ATF1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, User optimized. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ATF1 atfc for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The ATF1 atfc product has the following accession number(s) (GI #112983140) (NCBI Accession #NP_001037041.1) (Uniprot Accession #Q9GPH3). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Sheep polyclonal ATF1 antibody.
Biological Significance: Defects in ATF1 may be a cause of angiomatoid fibrous histiocytoma (AFH). A distinct variant of malignant fibrous histiocytoma that typically occurs in children and adolescents and is manifest by nodular subcutaneous growth. Characteristic microscopic features include lobulated sheets of histiocyte-like cells intimately associated with areas of hemorrhage and cystic pseudovascular spaces, as well as a striking cuffing of inflammatory cells, mimicking a lymph node metastasis. Immunogen: ATF1 antibody was raised in sheep using ATF-1; N-terminal fragment GST-fusion protein as the immunogen. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing ATF1 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as ATF1 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Blood, Embryonic Tissue, Epidermis, Eye, Fat Body, Imaginal Disks, Midgut, Ovary, Testis, Whole Body tissues are correlated with this protein.
