This product consists of purified IgG fraction of the above antiserum covalently coupled with the N-Hydroxysuccinimide ester of biotin under mild conditions to give a high degree of substitution. The product is formulated in a phosphate saline buffer (0.01M, pH 7.2) containing 0.1% sodium azide preservative. No stabilizing proteins have been added. Possible applications for this product include avidin and streptavidin amplification systems for immunohistochemistry, ELISA, fluorescence microscopy and immunoblotting. In addition, this product may beused in place of neat antiserum in almost any appropriate antibody-based technique. Protein concentration is 4-5 mg/ml. Recommended short term (<6 months) storage is liquid at 2-8 degree C. For longer term storage, aliquot and freeze. Unit size is 1.0 ml.
Immunogen: Soluble extract from A. fumigatus, A. flavus, A. niger and A. terreus
Reactivity Note: Antiserum is not absorbed & may react with related microorganisms. Other Note: Antibody functions in immunohistochemistry
Antiserum Characterization: (neat). In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing Aspergillus sp. are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as Aspergillus sp. may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
