The ARPC2 arpc2 (Catalog #MBS610325) is an Antibody produced from Goat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The ARPC2 (ARPC2, actin related protein 2/3 complex, subunit 2, 34kDa, ARC34, PRO2446, p34-Arc, PNAS-139, ARP2/3 protein compex subunit 34) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s ARPC2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC).Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.
Dilution: Peptide ELISA: >1:32,000.
Western Blot: 0.1-0.5ug/ml. ~33-34kD band observed in Hela and Human Muscle lysates (predicted MW of 34kD according to NP_005722).
Immunohistochemistry: 3-5ug/ml paraffin embedded Human Spleen shows cytoplasm staining in some splenocytes in and around a T-cell area. Staining (0.2ug/ml) of Hela lysate (RIPA buffer, 35ug total protein per lane). Primary incubated for 1 hour. Detected by western blot using chemiluminescence. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ARPC2 arpc2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The ARPC2 arpc2 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #23238211) (NCBI Accession #NP_690601.1) (Uniprot Accession #O15144). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the ARPC2 (ARPC2, actin related protein 2/3 complex, subunit 2, 34kDa, ARC34, PRO2446, p34-Arc, PNAS-139, ARP2/3 protein compex subunit 34) with the following immunoassay(s):
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (MBS610325 (3.8ug/ml) staining of paraffin embedded Human Spleen. Steamed antigen retrieval with citrate buffer pH 6, AP-staining.)
Western Blot (WB) (MBS610325 staining (0.2µg/ml) of Hela lysate (RIPA buffer, 35µg total protein per lane). Primary incubated for 1 hour. Detected by western blot using chemiluminescence.)
This gene encodes one of seven subunits of the human Arp2/3 protein complex. The Arp2/3 protein complex has been implicated in the control of actin polymerization in cells and has been conserved through evolution. The exact role of the protein encoded by this gene, the p34 subunit, has yet to be determined. Two alternatively spliced variants have been characterized to date. Additional alternatively spliced variants have been described but their full length nature has not been determined.
Immunogen: Synthetic peptide corresponding to C-EMKTITGKTFSSR, from the C Terminus of human ARPC2 (NP_005722.1; NP_690601.1). In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing ARPC2 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as ARPC2 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
