The ALDH1L1 aldh1l1 (Catalog #MBS831694) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The ALDH1L1 antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s ALDH1L1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Western Blot (WB).
IF: 1:100
IHC: 1:150
WB: 1:500-2000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ALDH1L1 aldh1l1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.

The ALDH1L1 aldh1l1 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #21614513) (NCBI Accession #NP_036322) (Uniprot Accession #O75891). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the ALDH1L1 antibody with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (Western Blot analysis of HEK293T cell lysates (5 ug) transfected with either recombinant ALDH1L1 protein (Right) or empty vector (Left) detected with ALDH1L1 antibody)
Western Blot (WB) ALDH1L1.

Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Immunohistochemical analysis of ALDH1L1 protein in paraffin embedded Carcinoma of Human kidney tissue using ALDH1L1 antibody)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) ALDH1L1.

Mouse monoclonal ALDH1L1 antibody.

Biological Significance: ALDH1L1 catalyzes the conversion of 10-formyltetrahydrofolate, NADP, and water to tetrahydrofolate, NADPH, and carbon dioxide. ALDH1L1 belongs to the aldehyde dehydrogenase family and is responsible for formate oxidation in vivo. Deficiencies in this gene can result in an accumulation of formate and subsequent methanol poisoning. Immunogen: ALDH1L1 antibody was raised in mouse using a full length recombinant protein of human ALDH1L1 (NP_036322) produced in HEK293T cells, as the immunogen. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing ALDH1L1 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as ALDH1L1 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. ALDH1L1 also interacts with the following gene(s): MTHFD1, MTR, SHMT1. Brain, Eye, Ganglia, Heart, Intestine, Kidney, Liver, Lung, Mouth, Prostate tissues are correlated with this protein. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Brain Diseases, Carcinoma, Hepatocellular, Disease Models, Animal, Fatty Liver, Fibrosis, Learning Disorders, Liver Diseases, Liver Neoplasms, Necrosis, Vascular Diseases are some of the diseases may be linked to ALDH1L1 antibody.
