The ACVR1C acvr1c (Catalog #MBS127029) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The ACVR1C Polyclonal Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s ACVR1C can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC).WB: 1:500 - 1:2000
IHC: 1:10 - 1:200. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ACVR1C acvr1c for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The ACVR1C acvr1c product has the following accession number(s) (GI #74762565) (NCBI Accession #Q8NER5.1) (Uniprot Accession #Q8NER5). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

ACVR1C is a type I receptor for the TGFB family of signaling molecules. Upon ligand binding, type I receptors phosphorylate cytoplasmic SMAD transcription factors, which then translocate to the nucleus and interact directly with DNA or in complex with other transcription factors. (Bondestam et al., 2001[PubMed 12063393]).
Immunogen: Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 22-113 of human ACVR1C (NP_660302.2). In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing ACVR1C are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as ACVR1C may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
