The ABO abo (Catalog #MBS127167) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The ABO Polyclonal Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s ABO can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunofluorescence (IF).WB: 1:500 - 1:2000
IHC: 1:50 - 1:200
IF: 1:50 - 1:200. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ABO abo for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The ABO abo product has the following accession number(s) (GI #114949) (NCBI Accession #P16442.2) (Uniprot Accession #P16442). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the ABO Polyclonal Antibody with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (Western blot analysis of extracts of K-562 cells, using ABO antibody at 1:1000 dilution.
Secondary antibody: HRP Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) (MBS128200) at 1:10000 dilution.
Lysates/proteins: 25ug per lane.
Blocking buffer: 3% nonfat dry milk in TBST.)
Immunofluorescence (IF) (Immunofluorescence analysis of MCF-7 cells using ABO antibody. Blue: DAPI for nuclear staining.)
This gene encodes proteins related to the first discovered blood group system, ABO. Which allele is present in an individual determines the blood group. The \'O\' blood group is caused by a deletion of guanine-258 near the N-terminus of the protein which results in a frameshift and translation of an almost entirely different protein. Individuals with the A, B, and AB alleles express glycosyltransferase activities that convert the H antigen into the An or B antigen. Other minor alleles have been found for this gene. Species: Human
Immunogen: Recombinant Protein. Immunogen: Recombinant protein of human ABO
Calculated Molecular Weight: 40kDa. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing ABO are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as ABO may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Cardiovascular Diseases, Death, Diabetes Mellitus, Heart Diseases, Hypertension, Inflammation, Kidney Diseases, Liver Failure, Necrosis, Urinary Bladder Neoplasms are some of the diseases may be linked to ABO Polyclonal Antibody.
