Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given elisa kit. We\'ve tested the Plant hormone abscisic acid, ABA ELISA Kit with the following immunoassay(s):
Typical Testing Data/Standard Curve (for reference only)
Principle of the Assay: This assay employs the competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with antigen. Standards or samples are added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with an antibody specific for ABA. The competitive inhibition reaction is launched between with pre-coated ABA and ABA in samples with the antibody. Then add a Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugated goat-anti-rabbit IgG antibody. A substrate solution is added to the wells and the color develops in opposite to the amount of ABA in the sample. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
Samples: Plant tissues
Assay Type: Quantitative Competitive
Detection Range: 0.156 ug/ml-10 ug/ml
Sensitivity: < 0.04 ug/ml. Intra-assay Precision: Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): CV%<10%. Three samples of known concentration were tested twenty times on one plate to assess.
Inter-assay Precision: Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): CV%<20%. Three samples of known concentration were tested in twenty assays to assess. Plant hormone abscisic acid, ABA ELISA Kit or ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbant assays) Kits in general, are a valuable research tool for a myriad of applications in a range of scientific settings. Currently, three major types of ELISA formats are used by researchers: sandwich, competitive and indirect. Most commercially available ELISA Kits are sandwich or competitive. Commercially available ELISA Kits contain wells that have been pre-coated with the capture antibody. Please refer to the product manual for the ELISA format of your specific kit.
